BudgetForge is a complete personal-finance planner that runs on your own computer and never connects to a bank. Track accounts of every type with running balances, log income, expenses and transfers, split a transaction across categories, and search or bulk-edit history however you like. Monthly envelope budgets show planned, actual and remaining as bars, and roll leftover or overspend forward per category. Recurring bills understand weekly, fortnightly, monthly, yearly and every-N-day schedules with proper month-end handling; due items post themselves as real transactions and catch up anything missed while the app was closed, and a calendar plus a thirty-day projection warns you before a balance goes low. Savings goals show progress rings and the monthly contribution required; debt payoff compares snowball against avalanche with timelines and total interest saved. Money is stored and computed in exact integer cents throughout, so rounding never drifts. Bank CSV files import through a column-mapping wizard with duplicate detection, and an optional PIN encrypts the whole data file at rest with AES-256-GCM.
