The classic PDF leak is a black rectangle drawn over live text that anyone can select, copy or search. RedactForge exists to stop that. Mark a region by box, by area or by selecting text, and it destroys the underlying content — either by rasterizing and replacing the page (the default, and impossible to undo) or, with a licence, by precisely removing only the glyphs beneath the mark so the rest of the page stays selectable. A sanitize pass then strips metadata, XMP records, embedded files, JavaScript, bookmarks, annotations and hidden optional-content layers. Finally the verify step re-parses the finished document and asserts that no selectable text remains under any redacted region, producing a report you can keep. It can also scan for and mark every Social Security number, credit card, email address, phone number or IP address in a document automatically.
